Personality: Eridan is one of those people that everyone else regards as "a bit of a tool." He's overdramatic, emotionally draining, and a bit of a tryhard. He believes he's the best at whatever he does, mostly because he's royalty and that automatically makes him better than everyone else. Especially land dwellers. However, that does not stop him from making kissy faces and trying to get with everything that moves, no matter where they live.
Eridan is obsessed with love. By that, I mean mostly for himself. Whenever he finds someone he could wax romantic for on either end of the spectrum, he will cling to them, taking everything they say as an advance, even when it is not intended to be one. He will tend to overblow other people's feelings too, thinking that others think the same way he does. Nothing ever ends in his favor though, and any prospects that he even had a glimmer of hope for, shoot him down because of his overbearing nature. He doesn't even understand why people would turn him down, so he keeps trying. After all, he's the best in his own mind.
Eridan hates pretty much anyone that isn't himself, or gets in his way of his love quests. He hates others so much, that he wants to kill them all. This, combined with his love for military leaders and history's greatest conquerors and tyrants, has given birth to a crazy genocide complex. He wants the world to burn, especially the surface, so that the high blooded sea trolls can rule like how they're supposed to. He has the means to do so to, or at least he hopes so. He invests his time and energy into collecting doomsday devices and powerful weapons so that he may one day achieve his dream of killing everyone.
His nature often causes him to flip the fuck off the handle, and combined with his genocidal nature, often causes bloody and catastrophic results. Breaking his heart will cause him to blow a hole through yours. When he was shot down by Feferi, he did exactly that. He can be a jealous, selfish asshole, and will go to great lengths to quell that jealousy, usually through violence. However, that doesn't mean he doesn't feel bad about it... which often leads to more melodrama on his part. He does admit to feeling bad when he kills Sollux, especially considering his involvement with his own one-sided love interest. Eridan knows that he can be an asshole, and really, as much as he'll whine and cry and make a big scene, there's no changing him. He's the kind of person that wants the world to change for him, and not the other way around.
Abilities: Eridan is a skilled marksman. His strife specibus is Riflekind, and he has amassed a large collection of other weapons from his adventures in extreme roleplaying. He also is capable of zapping people with magic, but magic's fake anyways. There is clearly a scientific explanation behind that.
Sample Entry: [Eridan had just found the locker of someone whom he actually really despised in that black romance sort of way, and mustered up the courage to confront them, by their locker. He would have slipped it in, but instead felt the need to deliver it personally, and read it to them. Gotta go the extra mile for hate like this, after all.]
